Photos and Precious moments!

Hi everyone!We are home!!We loved our trip but now we are trying to settle down!

Getting ready for work and school, having tons of laudry and lots of ironing keep us busy!
There are some photos I would like to share with you today.

This is my son's first medal in swimming and I am sooo proud of him!
He has showed it to everyone we know , even to people we don't know and he had been sleeping wearing it for almost a week! LOL I believe swimming classes have boosted his self confidence!

This is a photo of my kids in Edessa.
We all loved the waterfall park there and had fun visiting the small aquarium!

And finally a super cute photo of my son getting ready for his first day to school!!

Aww my little man is growing up so fast!!!(Bear in mind : this is a proud mommy talking LOL)

Summer mini album swap.

Hi everyone!We are packing our bags!!

We will be visiting the beautiful city of Edessa and hopefully Thessaloniki too! We are going to John and Maria's wedding!! I am sooo excited! I am also having trouble on deciding if I should get more summer clothes or winter ones!!The weather doesn't help that much!! Plus I am trying to limit our luggage to ... one big suitcase and a bagpack! I trully hope I can make it!! LOL I don't like carrying tons of stuff with us! We won't have many days ahead to relax but this trip will be our getaway for this year!

Here comes September!

Hi everyone!!I woke up this morning

 by the sound or a small thunderstorm!LOL

September is here!!Autumn starts!!School , work, back to our routine!I am not quite sure if it is good or bad yet...Feelings are mixed up.My son will go to school,there is a trip ahead of us,still I wish I had more time to relax... The good news is that it will get a bit cooler and that means I'll enjoy sleeping!!

I can't sleep well when it's hot....

Cool in the pool!

This is a layout for the August  challenge by Memories trend.

I used mostly my scraps for this layout.

I was inpired by summer and by my son! He has been taking swimming classes since July and he has been doing great!
Can you tell that I am a proud mommy or what? LOL

I feel like a cheerleader, cheering with joy to encourage him each time it is his turn. I just love it when he looks at me and says : "Look mommy!! I can do it!! I can swim!!"

Οι διαστασεις του ειναι 25 επι 25 εκ και υπαρχει χωρος για φωτογραφιες απο τη βαφτιση.

Ξετρελλαθηκα με τα χαρτια και σιγουρα θα τα χρησιμοποιησω στο καλοκαιρινο μινι αλμπουμ που σκεφτομαι να φτιαξω

 για τα παιδια μου!

A messy floor!

Hi everyone!

I can't believe how fast this summer is passing by! I feel we are living our lives in fast forward!

So much to do and so little time!!

Do you love a messy floor?This is what we did to ours!Guess who did the cleaning LOL

well we managed to clean everything and paint the wall!The wardrobe is almost in its place

(you can see part of it in the second photo)

 and our clothes are waiting patiently on my sofa to be put in!

I still have 10 more days until I go back to work so time is precious!!

We are getting ready for the beach today!!We managed to go swimming yesterday too!The sea is simply awesome in the morning! I hope you are enjoying the summer sea and sun!
Don't forget the sunscreen! ;)

A 'princess and the frog' card

Today I would like to share this cute little card I made for a fairy princess.

I was looking forward to using this Magnolia stamp for so long

 but all my projects lately were all about boys!

So here it finally is!Pink and girly!

This is how I made the card:

First of all I stamped and coloured the Tilda and then I cut the image.

My next step was to cut this nestability die I had also not used (I need to make a catalogue of what I have because sometimes I forget things in my bottom drawer )!! This die reminds me of a doily and that's why I had bought it in the first place.Then I painted it  with shell pink dabber

Cut my cardstock,scored it and used my flower corner punch

Used the same border punch to make a tiny garden and used my snow cap dabber on the edges

and then started putting them all together

a flower on top and a sentiment ... the card is ready!

A birthday card for a boy!

I have a birthday card to share with you today! It is for a shining little star!

Happy birthday Stavro!

The stamps are from Hero arts and I have added some white tails with my Sakura pen.

This was a difficult week for us since my son had a flu....He had fever and was coughing all day and all night long.He is feeling better now and I hope that my daughter hasn't got the flu too....

 We will soon know!

Things were left a bit behind and I need to start creating!!

With a brush in my hand!

Hello everyone!do you like painting with a brush? Is that a yes?
I have been painting for the last few weeks and I can say I enjoyed it!
My hubby and I have been painting and redecorating a small kitchenette into a wardrobe and decided to 'expand' our .... activities!
We realized that the room we use as an office needed a redecoration too so there we were painting the walls , taking everything apart and then putting them back together again.Our kids want to participate too and that complicates things LOL So we work when they are asleep....!


The good thing is that it's a great way to keep fit, since I have been cooking and eating a lot lately...LOL
So here come some photos!After everything is back into place I will post some more!Take a look!

finally the office is almost done!My hubby and son are on their pc,relaxing!

A summer mini album (tutorial) - Eνα καλοκαιρινο μινι αλμπουμ

I love summertime !

It is a great time to take fantastic photos and have fun with friends!
This is a mini for my friend Vicky to fill it in with her holiday memories from July.As she told me this will be the first mini album she will ever receive, since she hasn't participated in any mini album swaps yet.

So here is a quick tutorial on how I made this mini
First of all you cut the chipboard pieces you'll need and paint their edges

Then you choose the paper you like to use and adhere them on the chipboard.You can distress the edges according to the look you want your mini to have.

Now it's time to embelish!!

You'll end up with something like this

and now it's time to bind your mini!

I chose a binding ring for this mini.First you punch the first hole on your cover and then you mark your next punch like this on your next page(after you have aligned the pages)

After you have punched all your pages it's time to bind them with your ring.

Your mini is ready!Your memories through your photos will fill its pages

I just LOVE my daughter's expression in this photo!She simply adored this cute dollie and wanted to grab her all the time!! LOL I decided to use it in this layout I made, for the competition the Memories Trend is organising this weekend .

We had to use a banner as the main embellishment of the layout so I used  these flowers and a border from Echo park collection , along with a stripe of My Little Shoebox paper  and some thickers!

A small card for a little miracle!

Oh my!July is here!!My vacations have started two days ago!!

I am so excited!

I will finally have enough time to do a lot of things in my house and hopefully relax too!

I have been trying to transform a small kitchen in the back of the house into a wardrobe. I suddenly found myself having so many clothes for my kids!Has this ever happened to any of you? Our relatives and friends had given us some,our grannies bought us lots ..... so they have piled up! I'll just donate the ones that don't fit them and make some more room to organise all our clothes better. I just hate ironing -it's getting really hot lately- and putting away clothes all the time!

We will be off to the beach in a while for a swim ,

 so today I would like to share a card I made yesterday for a little boy
