Time to get back into creation!

Hi everyone!

How long has it been since my last post!
Oh my!!Ages!!
You can find what has been keeping me busy Here
But now I am back with some inspiration,
I was invited to participate with a layout for challence of ScrapAndGrab

This is me and my friend Vicky.

I had fun putting it together -although time was not in my side- and bearing in mind that I hadn't made a layout for quite some time,
it came out pretty well!

Cool in the pool!

This is a layout for the August  challenge by Memories trend.
I used mostly my scraps for this layout.

I was inpired by summer and by my son! He has been taking swimming classes since July and he has been doing great!
Can you tell that I am a proud mommy or what? LOL
I feel like a cheerleader, cheering with joy to encourage him each time it is his turn. I just love it when he looks at me and says : "Look mommy!! I can do it!! I can swim!!"

"Look mommy!!!!"

I just LOVE my daughter's expression in this photo! She simply adored this cute dollie and wanted to grab her all the time!! LOL I decided to use it in this layout I made, for the competition the Memories Trend is organising this weekend .

We had to use a banner as the main embellishment of the layout so I used  these flowers and a border from Echo park collection , along with a stripe of My Little Shoebox paper  and some thickers!

Thank you so much for stopping by!Have a wonderful Sunday!

Layouts for the Greek cyber crop

This was a fast weekend , the days just flew away....
but we had the first Greek cyber crop so I found the chance to scrap a bit more!
The first challenge was from Melenia. We had to follow a sketch.I knew exactly what I would make!
Have you ever been to Samos island? Well I have to tell you it's one of the best Greek islands! It combines blue seas and green mountains! I definately recommend it if you don't have it already in your list!
My first layout was all about it!!

The second challenge was from Irini and my inspiration were my children!Blue and pink rule!!LOL

There will be some more challenges on soon, after the crop of course! Family comes always first!!

February 2010 Crop Challenge #3

This is my entry for the February 2010 Crop Challenge #3 in Life on the scrapbeach
The third challenge is to make a layout, card or other project using the shadow stamping technique.
I decided to make a tag.
I think I did well considering this is the first time I am trying this technique! I stamped with Versamark and then with Stazon.Embossed the edges with gold embosing powder but not the actual image.Nevertheless the powder left a gold shadow effect on the cardstock!
I also made a butterfy embelishment.I embossed it with black embossing powder, coloured it and then put some glossy accents on the colour!
I would appreciate your comments!

Here is one more layout for Crop Challenge #6.

This kitten was my cat for 5 years! I had practically saved him from starvation ,since his mum had abandoned him.He was too young to eat anything else but milk ,so I became his mommy! I called him Lucky. He was so clever and adorable! I really miss him...
